LET’S DO IT FITNESS

Coaches

LDIF is owned and operated by women. Which means we know how to train women in a great space where they also feel comfortable and supported.

As the owner and head coach of LDIF the buck stops with me. The reputation and standard of LDIF is something that I value with the upmost respect. The coaching standard at LDIF is a huge part of what sets us apart from every other gym or fitness studio. I hand pick the coaches of LDIF so our values and standards all align. Our coaching styles are different, but the service standard is the common link between the team. Each Coach offers their own style and personality, this diversity is what gives us strength. In saying this the connection with our members, the community and the standard of training is something that we all place high value on. Working with women, for women and being a woman, I know what is expected and what is appreciated. As a cheeky side note I love a little silliness and dance off here and there. However, managing our client’s safety and expectation is always at the centre of our coach’s mindset and is our collective highest value.

My name is Melissa and I’m new to coaching, but I’m not new to the power of exercise. A few years ago, I found myself almost 50, very unfit, unable to keep up with my children, and more importantly, not living the life I wanted to live. I had joined a million gyms, cancelled as many memberships, and not really found a way that I could incorporate exercise into my busy life as a teacher and a mother of two. Then I found LDIF, met the fantastic trainers, met other women who were in the same boat as me, and became inspired to keep on going. It just felt right, because it was.

I loved the way the coaches knew me and cared how I felt, and how I was going, and I also loved the community, family feel. So different from a regular gym! I loved it so much that I felt empowered enough to get my Personal Training qualification, and I have been fortunate enough to join the staff! Now I get to help other women feel better and achieve their goals. My classes are challenging but enjoyable. You’ll find yourself becoming fitter and stronger and maybe make a friend or two or three along the way. I aim to make everyone feel that they are capable, and adjust exercises accordingly, so you can leave knowing you’ve worked hard and done your very best for yourself.

Hi, my name is Stanja, and I love coaching people about mind & body connection. My passion is yoga, actually yoga is a way of life for me. Having studied over the last 6 years and practiced more than 20, I continuously search for deeper knowledge and yoga practices that I love to share with others. My instruction style is down-to-earth, and I believe that safely challenging the body in a fun and intelligent way, helps create a strong, healthy body and a calm focused mind - not just on the mat, but beyond. For me life does not depend on being able to get the foot behind the head, but on creating a good set of tools one can use beyond the mat. I specialise in accessible and trauma aware yoga practices, I am a neuroscience nerd and soon enough I will embark on formal neuroscience study.

Keeping active is both beneficial for the mind and body.

Emma says “You will commonly find me dancing with friends, taking the dog for a walk or swimming laps at the pool but when I want a deeper mind/body connection I turn to pilates.

It brings Emma great joy to see people keeping active too, this is what lead her to complete her teacher training with Studio Pilates International. She now enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge of the exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates.

Emma promotes that just like Joseph Pilates once said 'Pilates is more than just a physical exercise, it can radically enhance mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing too'.

Hi I’m Kim, I’ve been into fitness for my whole adult life and got serious about practicing Yoga about 15 years ago. You could say I’ve been practicing Yoga for much longer than that as I have been meditating daily since 1985! I hold several advanced degrees in the humanities and am able to weave that knowledge, and other life experiences into my yoga teaching. I am captivated by the transformational power that yoga has across the whole spectrum of physical and psycho-emotional wellbeing.
I teach a variety of styles including Yin Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin/Yang Flow, Hot Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra. While I thoughtfully plan my classes, I always retain the flexibility to discard the plan to meet the needs of the students in the room. I teach from a place of compassion, support and empowerment and am inspired by the magical transformation that occurs in the short space of one yoga class as students settle, breathe, move, and connect to the deepest and best version of themselves.
